I’m Monica Morgan, Co-Founder of The Burning Bra. Welcome to our site and thank you in advance for visiting.
The Burning Bra is a passion project of my daughters, Britt Taylor, & Ashley Meador. This project is a non-profit, working to aid women in the Home, Work, & their Communities.
We are excited by this project and it means so much to me because having spent the majority of my career in off-campus housing for college communities, I have met and hopefully impacted a number of women, as the common thread I took note of amongst women of all ages is a lack of confidence, courage, & belief in themselves.
With this project it is my intention to bolster a sense of community within our platform, that offers numerous opportunities for the females of today, to feel empowered and that they can achieve anything, literally anything they set their minds too!
You’ll see between my daughters and the amazing Board of Directors we have assembled that we are a stealthy team of women, passionate about lifting one another up, and being a sounding board in our endeavor to create a more inclusive and diverse community of resources for the women of today and the future.
Thank you for checking us out, there are so many good things to come! Join us, or participate in areas that meet your passion! Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you all in 2021 as we launch this exciting endeavor!
Hi, I’m Britt. I’m a proud mom to two boys, who my husband, Jason, & I were blessed to be able to adopt from foster care in Jan 2021. I'm also a foster mom to a beautiful baby girl. I’m a full time accountant and a leader to a team of 5 women. And most recently, I am pursuing my Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. In my life, I’ve tackled the hard trek of infertility, miscarriage, adoption, and foster care. I am fiercely supportive of women as they walk through their different journeys in motherhood. TBB is the passion project for myself, my sister, Ashley, and my mom, Monica.
I’m here to make a difference in the lives of every woman I come across and to use my privilege and experiences to uplift those around me.
